Hello Lads,Have a 99 AR. Maybe I should have this intro in tech topic.Anyway I might the answer here. I broke kickstart as it is now a pig to start.I changed pilot jet,cleaned kill switch.Have ordered a new kill switch anyway.Question?? hope someone can help.What kickstart from a CR will fit an AR?
I have an old TS185ER as standby. Now that is one competent motorcycle.Utterly reliable and not far off CRM in capabilities offroad.Great to have all your expertise out there.

On a very quick search a 2002-2004 CR250 kickstart should fit. I have not done it but I think Hellisup has from what I read.

There are several CR250 kickstarts that fit but the 02-04 is best (I have seen 90s used). I think that the same shape ran for a longer time than 02-04 but I have used an 02 and 04 on my bikes.

Sorry to bring this up again, but are you talking about the whole kickstarter (lever + knuckle) or just the lever itself. I only need to confirm as Honda can't get the knuckle joint which broke on my bike on the weekend. There is nothing wrong with my lever, I just need to confirm the spline is the same on this model CR to my 99 AR. Thanks.
