Re: Hi folks
Are they Mission speakers?
Oh,the chain guide will wear prematurely if you do not put a lowering block on, or fit a larger front sprocket, then a smaller back can be run.

Re: Hi folks
Eltax speakers, keen eye you have though! I do seem to have quite high gearing, that's something I'll assess when the bike is up and running. I know the front sprocket is too big to get the cover over the top of, which is a little frustrating but I'll deal with it. Waiting for 1 bolt to turn up, then I can get the clutch in and actually attempt to start it up!

Re: Hi folks
Hi Mammoth & welcome. Think it the chain guide looks OK- probably just because you have it up on the ramp and the swing-arm is hanging that it looks like it needs dropped down. I am running a 14/51 tooth set of cogs, so my chain protector definitely wouldn't fit without lengthening it. Nice clean looking bike. Good luck and hope she starts first time!!

Re: Hi folks
Sticking forks?, have all the spacers found their way back into the correct slots?, that might cause some sticking if their being pulled out of plumb.

Re: Hi folks
Fair cop, I took the front wheel off to get it home, and put it back together in the dark in a rush, I'll take it all apart and have a gander. I need to whip the front caliper off anyway because the pads are binding quite badly, one of them get bent somewhere on the journey over. Guess I'll have a front end strip down whilst I'm waiting on the last bolt to turn up! Cheers for the vote of confidence njhardy, I've got my fingers crossed she fires up first time too!

Blue plastics? Have I missed something lol.
And cheers helisupp, took longer than expected actually, mostly just waiting for parts though. It made a good reminder to have the engine in boxes in the corner of the living room! It'll get it's first proper run tomorrow when I take it to the mot centre, so far I've only nipped up and down the road behind my house on it, it seemed alright but it didn't get much of a warm up!
