Hi from Somerset

Hi all,
I'm Josh from Somerset, been trail riding and riding ldt's for about 2 years now.
Currently riding a 1992 XLR 250 which I love but looking to upgrade to a CRM in the next month or so. So if anybody knows of any locally upto around £1400 I'd be interested. ;)
Anyway, looks a cracking forum 8-)
Cheers, Josh

Welcome,

Thete's one on ebay in Wellington with 4 or do days to run. Starting bid £1195. Looks a bit overpricrd to me though. There is a number listed. You could give him a call and arrange to view and maybe haggle for off ebay cash deal...

Paul.

:D Hi Josh, welcome, +1, make a lower bid, also check for the known CRM Achilles heels, swinging arm bearing/shaft. A working power valve, + all usual checks.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone :) I've seen the one on ebay in Wellington and tbh think it's pretty steep money for the condition! What would people be looking to pay for one of that age? As my XLR is in pretty good knick, I'm only going to upgrade to a nice clean example. Will be willing to travel a bit for one also.

Cheers again :D

I think it's more about condition than age. I don't think I'd want to pay more than £800 for that one.

Have you got a wanted ad here? It is possible to put a wanted listing on ebay. Just don't use the word wanted, as that flags up an alert and the pull it. I used sought and got away with it...

Paul.
