G'day everyone,
My name is Mick, recently I purchased my first CRM, a Mk2 '91 model. I have to say its a blast to ride. :BB
We dont get to see the CRMs much here, so its good to have something a little different from all the guys with CRFs/KXs
I have found this site great for info that you cant really get anywhere else, keep up the good work.

:D G'day Mick, welcome, don't know my brother who lives near Sydney do you :?: ;) .
Yea, there's plenty of good reading on the MK2 to be had, most issues have been covered at some point in the past.
It's mostly been AR owners from Australia as I don't think the previous MK's were officially imported to Aus.

G'Day Mick. As far as I know, Mike is right about the other Mk's. As far as I know only the AR can be registered and most you find have been imported and complied in QLD (mine was). Although, being in Melbourne you can take advantage of Rec Rego if I'm not mistaken. I wish they would introduce this into NSW as this is one of the main point I bought the CRM as it can be road registered. Ultimately I wanted the CR500E but at a cost of 9-10K I think they are a bit expensive but would make the ultimate motard for the road. You will find almost all info here and happy riding.

Yeah, not sure if i know your brother from sydney mate ;)
I believe mine was a personal import that was then sold on to the guy i bought it from.
I didnt buy the bike for a daily ride. So rec rego is perfect for me,I just wanted something fun to enhance my weekend warrior status.
