Hi from Scotland

Hi folks, just bought myself a mk1 crm from Trev (exile2020) and thought I would introduce myself to the forum.

Also, thanks to Steve for the info on his old bike before I bought it.

It's currently making it's way up north with a courier so I should hopefully get out on it next week with any luck. :D

Cheers
Ross

Hi Ross, welcome, are you new to trail riding, or just fancied a CRM?

Hi Mike, I've had a couple of old DT175 trail bikes in the past and ride trials bike so am fairly new to trail bikes but have done a lot of offroad riding, just not at great speed, although I've done the Scottish a couple of times which involves a fair bit of reasonably quick moor crossings. I'll mostly be using the crm for road riding but will take to the odd trail too. In fact I think I'll need to put up a wanted ad for a set of wheels and knobblie tyres.

Hey voodookid37, where about in Scotland are you from? I stay up in Aberdeen but am from the highlands originally.

Hi Ross. Congratulations :) .

Try out the bike as it is and if you find you do mostly on road then think about what you want. Getting a set of SM wheels and tyres will massively improve the handling and braking on the road and you can put more knobbly tyres on for the off road.
