after a winter in bits its now together 'again' only got a few photos as my phone packed up all 3 were taken yesterday

black kit is the weston beach armour
faded red/white is aload of old spares kicking around

shes had new bearings all round and full rebuild apart from balance shaft as mines disconnected ;) crank case rework to add to the topend tuning, new hagon rear shock and the cr forks have had some love as well plus new clutch plates and a barely used basket ..and last but not least a new swingarm bolt that il treasure forever due to how much it bloody cost

still a bit to go but the light at the end of the muddy tunnel is in view :

Looks amazing. I'll hopefully have my Mk2 looking as good one day. How much were the wheels? Have you got a run down of costs of each item you've done?

I'd also be interested in why your wheels look so good! :)

Did you purchase new rims?

Cheers lads :)
Bandito the cr forks firm the front end up a treat standard forks aint the best in harsh terrain there very bouncy.

Jompy not expecting a huge gain as it was pretty modded before but its sounding very nice and more pokey had the work done and bottom end assembled for a nice price of 100 pound :)

Griff i dread to think overall cost lol i started collecting the parts early last year engine and swingarm bits alone was 600ish. Fork refurbishment and rear hagon were 300 (thanks to knackered for the hagon deal)

Andrew wheels were rebuilt years ago got the rims cheap and had them re-powdercoated and laced onto standard hubs altogether from memory i think it was around 200 quid. The rim tapes are off ebay they were 25 but worth every penny they're nice and thick very good quality

links to the rim stickers (cheaper than when i ordered) and seat panel trims make sure you state NO PRE-CUT HOLES these are a near perfect fit and can take more than a whack/slide/bike impact! And upper fork covers ;) a hair drier and a dab of superglue is needed to mould them nicely.

All 3 will protect regardless of conditions and look pukka along the way

Rear side plastics sit perfect and not like the original left hand flat and wide right set up (petty easy to do with a certain boiler bracket)
