Team Mudface Mk3 rebuild
After another hard season, the poor mk3 had been given another good thrashing all season and by the last event (the Cambrian) it had achieved
Rally Moto Sprint - 2nd trail class (14th overall)
Kielder - 1st trail class (8th overall)
Ryedale - 1st trail class (4th overall)
Beacons - 2nd trail class (9th overall)
Hafren - 2nd trail class (21st overall)
Cambrian - 1st trail class (9th overall)
so a cracking season in more ways than one.
So 6 events later, I had lost 4th gear and cracked the frame
So the bike came to bits as even the bits in one piece did not look too hot after 4 years of total abuse

Re: Team Mudface Mk3 rebuild
The frame got repaired
then the tank and the frame powder coated.... wait for it... snot green
The next was to but some black plastics (thanks Helisupp).
The engine has been cleaned up and is back in the frame.
More later .......

Re: Team Mudface Mk3 rebuild
I'm not prepared to reveal all at the moment, the design that D&D graphics have done is a hoot. Some clues though, Kawasaki snot green frame, black plastics. LOL - I'll have the whole forum rolling about or going wow!jompy wrote:why ohh why snot grean ? lol

Those race results tell a story, I wonder if anyone realises how impressive your overall positions were.

Re: Team Mudface Mk3 rebuild
Now most of the snow has gone, here we have the almost finished article.
No seat cover yet (hopefully next weekend). The graphics on the rad panels have been a pig to do and some finishing off to do with them as well. I'm not looking forward to the side panels. HEL are shortening the rear brake line (I sent them my original so further supplies should be the correct length), did I mention they are white?! The front and rear lights need wiring up but the bike started 3rd kick this morning.
