Speedo's - Standard vs. Digital (Trailtech, Koso etc etc)

I knew that when I bought my CRM that the speedo cable would have to be replaced. No big deal, two connectors and hey ho job done. However, I was wondering if i took this route, how accurate is a standard CRM speedo anyway ?

Has anyone else taken the digital speedo route ? If so what brand and model come recommended and how easy is the speedo and kit to fit ?

I've used both KOSO and Trailtech and I highly recommend the last one... All of the digital gauges use a magnet on the front wheel that triggers the speedo unit. You will have to screw a sensor on the front caliper and the magnet on the disc brake, no big deal, all of them come with instructions and there are many options by Trailtech so you can find one that will straight fit your bike without alterations.

That said, the stock unit is fine if it only needs a cable. :?
Digital gauges offer way more options but I find them difficult to read compared to stock clocks.
