just found this on E bay . is it just me or does this look like its past its best but made to look nice with some silver paint . guy says its rare to find these in such good condition but the bore looks like its cracked above the exhaust port and the cylinder head gasket face dont look good

The outside looks like it's been shot blasted and spray painted so fine. The inside is not bad either but as it's on its original bore it is very very likely to need a rebore, making the piston useless. (Even if it doesn't need a rebore I would make a strong case for the piston needing replacing if that is the original piston). The important area (seeing an there is not a lot of damage around the exhaust port) is the top of the bore where the piston rings reach the place where they change direction. This is the part that gets the most wear and should be measured before deciding what to do.
