What year is it? That model is supposed to make a good trail bike, but the kick start takes a little getting used to, apparently .

Tend to be nice bikes but what year? Lighter but taller than a CRM. Noticeably more power!!

You might need to soften the suspension but if you can do it - Enduro bikes like to skip across the bumps rather than ride through them. Faster feels better most of the time.! You might find (unless you have lots of climbs to do on the bike) that a 125 is better. 125s are like scalpels and you can steer by telepathy.

To be honest, any Enduro based bike is always going to be a bit racy for Trail biking, and loud. And, you're not exactly spoilt for choice, KDX's all old now, and pants on the road. If you can find one a Yamaha WR200, is a good bike, as is the TTR250 which although a 4T has a cult following, and all the bits can still be got from that guy in Devon [ Brian Sussex ?]. Or, the Gas Gas , hobby.

Brian Sussex has retired but someone else has taken over TotallyTTR's so all is well.
The WR will be plenty quick. I would go 300 2t TBH.
