Couple of questions.
Are the front brake callipers the same for all models and can anyone recommend somewhere to get the forks serviced??

Re: Couple of questions.
Not sure about the callipers question, but the front forks you can service yourself. I think it was "Slider" who wrote out a flow chart on how to do the job, or there will be videos on wonder-web.

Re: Couple of questions.
With the forks the seals keep leaking. I have put a couple of sets in now, so was thinking about getting them done professionally.

Re: Couple of questions.
It is worth scraping the edge of the fork seal with a thin feeler guage or piece of plastic to clean any dirt that may have lodged there. This is often the cause of weeping oil on upside down forks especially if you have recently changed the seals.
If you want to spend money here is a link to some tools for the job.

Re: Couple of questions.
How quickly do they start leaking again? I've had some cheaper seals which only last 12-18 months. I've gone for genuine Honda Seals this time to see if they last a little longer.
According to FAQ's the front calipers are all the same.

Re: Couple of questions.
Pretty sure calipers are the same across most honda dirt bikes inc.many of the XRs and crfs. The hangers are different on the 2005 +crfs but the caliper is the same. A good guide will be if they use the same brake pads.

Re: Couple of questions.
Fork socks stops your seals from going i had my seals done before weston beach race last year used the crm for work and the odd green laning over winter and a track trip yesterday and they're clean and perfect still. I got mine from china for a few quid great investment
You can also get a tool called ''seal mate'' off ebay i saved my mates rmz seals yesterday at the track his seals had been leaking all winter, a quick scoop around and no oil leaking all day : edit eddies posted a link a cheaper version same thing without the glitz and glam
