Hi all :)
Just a quick qustion were are you all fitting your tax disks as have had mine on the light cowl both sides and still its getting wet
1. Can you still keep it in your pocket and show it when asked by plod
2. Or is there some were on the bike that will keep the bugger dry
Yes I use the bike every day for work rain or shine also one ride out a week rain or shine. :D
Any Ideas welcome as you cant read the bugger now anyway

or you could always tatoo it on your hand and not wear a glove!

Tax disc holder

Kev,
i got one of those aluminium ones with a load of small allen bolts that hold the cover on.(for road bikes mainly). but the clever bit is, you wrap the tax disc in cling film, and seal the mating surfaces with clear silicone. I've bolted mine where the helmet lock and tool box used to be.

Why should you care if it gets wet or ruined , The new tax disk is registerd with the dvla / coppers/wardens computers , If any authority needed to know if your bike was taxed they would simply have to input your reg into there pc..Numberplate recognition doesnt even need a copper behind the camera , Just keep the reciept as proof of purchase.
