knackeredMk1, your right mate should know that by now! duh!

Its only that I went on the DT200 and it felt way better top end than mine! but then that would`nt help on most lanes! CRM its ace!

there are many things that could be killing your bikes top end power.

your piston/rings may be old? check your compression

clogged air filter

clogged exhaust and silencer

fouled plugs

jetting (your main jet controls the top end fueling, so when you check your plug, clean it and put it back it, ride your bike at full throttle, turn off the engine at full throttle, pull clutch in, stop, remove spark plug, inspect it, oily plug = too big main jet, white = too small main jet, coffee color = perfect.)

clogged fuel system (clogged main jet, clogged petcock, clogged fuel filter) could be restricting the delivery of fuel in the top end when it requires the most fuel.

thats most of the possibilities listed.

Out performing is not really what I am saying, it just feels like there is more of a kick top end! plus the low end fells fine as well! might be the pipe on it, it does not leave me on the trails just felt there was more poke, open it up on the road and the DT lifts the front, mine just goes faster but without the clutch the front is planted!

you should be able to get the CRM rolling pop it into second gear shut off the throttle yank the throttle back & the front wheel should pop up , well it did on my mk2 & i think it was on std gearing as it read just over 90mph on the speedo at top end
