Ooooh you mean the constantly on indicators? Mine never had a problem with MOT when I used to run indicators.

Can you not splice into the wire for the rear indicators left and right and bridge over to power front left and right??

I know, i was lucky this time. MOT rules have been tweaked and this time it was "nearly" a problem, but its something i will need to sort i reckon.
I think as they are single filament bulbs they are getting low current supplied though the CDI. Be nice to isolate it.
Good call with the feed from the rears though. bit of arseing around with the loom though. :(

I haven't got a wiring diagram here, but stopped running indicators ages ago. When I get my hands on wiring diagram (at workshop) I'll have a look for you.

This is from the AR manual:

The full wiring diagram on there is pants, but the paper copy I have from the LT manual is really good!! I photocopied mine onto A3 and copied it several times. Lost the electronic copy I think, may be on my PC, but see if the above helps for now.

If the MOT has changed regarding the daylight front lights does it apply to vehicles retrospectively.......

Having to splice into the indicator wires near the relay plug is no difficulty though and makes a nice tidy fix if you use the right bullet connectors and waterproof clear covers for the connectors.

Mine has had 'running lights' since I got it, but I assumed it had been done as a DIY job. Is it the standard set-up for the Mk 3 CRM?

Agreed, if i could do that - happy days. just working out what to splice and where.

You know i am sure i had all this info years ago when i had my last AR, i gave it all to the new owner when i sold the bike, inc all the parts manuals, diagrams - the lot.

It is on mine.
 Might have to look at doing a Morris Minor conversion for the indicator lights.
