CRM 250 Mk2/2 Wheels Value?

Post by tidyjim » 04 Jan 2013, 15:11

Hi,

Wondered if anyone can help, I have a 1993 Mk2/2 and supermoto'd it a few years ago, I have the original spoked wheels without tyres, they are in superb condition inside and out as the bike was never taken off road. I had a guy approach me the other day, he is keen to purchase them but i have no idea what they are worth?

Any sdvice would be great,

Many thanks

It's probably best to stick them on the dreaded Ebay as the price fluctuates considerably. At the end of the day like anything else, it's what it's worth at the time you go to sell it.

Really depends on how much someone wants them, but nice condition wheels with good bearings have got to be worth over £100 easy, are the spokes good? cost me £58 per wheel for new stainless spokes and then someone has to fit them! (lucky for me my mates a wheelbulider) (shameless plug any one needs contact info for a quote let me know very good service and cheaper than most places). so if the rims are good and the bearings and spokes I would pay £150 and above easy if I needed them! cheaper than sourcing rims spokes bearings and a rebuild!
