Before fitting new seals try pushing a thin feeler gauge passed the seal face and pulling it around the stanchion. Sometimes bits of dirt gets stuck on the seal face causing it to leak. Costs nothing to try and may just work.

You could get the forks serviced at the same time? Getting the sludge out and the bushes replacing as necessary?

Quite possibly the first time they have been looked at?

Would that be a good idea then knackeredmk1? Wouldn't hurt to get them inspected while there apart at least
