Mk3 gear lever
Mk3 gear lever
After searching the forum I've discovered that the CR500 gear lever fits our bikes. However, there appears to be two different fitments available: 84-88 or 89-01. Would anyone who has done this mod be so kind to let me know which one fits before I place an order!
Cheers.
Cheers.
Re: Mk3 gear lever
Well, I took the plunge and ordered a steel 89-01 version and it fits. Unfortunately the angle of the pedal is completely wrong but I managed to bend it into some kind of usable shape with a bit of heat and brute force.

Why did you not just buy the correct one.........
Re: Mk3 gear lever
The cr one was cheap, and now it's at the correct angle it actually seems to be an improvement over the standard part in terms of size.

Re: Mk3 gear lever
I had/have the same question but haven't asked it on here yet. Apparently CR500's fit, so, would this fit:

Sorry listing has ended, but hopefully you guys can still view the item.
I don't think you can still get CRM ones? The last I heard LT stocked aftermarket ones, but their website now says none available.

Re: Mk3 gear lever
The CR uses the same shaft size as the crm but the lever will need to be modified to the correct angle to suit the crm. Hence why I chose a cheap steel lever which could be reshaped with a bit of heat as opposed to an aluminium one.
