power valves not working!

Post by robmk2 » 05 Jun 2015, 10:25

Have been through the powervalve faqs and been through all the steps of testing but the last one as my bike (mk2) wont start unless the red and green wires from the regulator are connected so I can't put my multimeter on them. Servo motor is working, cables are free, powervalve is free, pen is working, i get a reading of 500 from each yellow wire from the regulator, conections are all fine so I am not sure what to do next. Thanks for any help you can give, cheers!

If the motor works the cables are free and the valve is free how can you say its not working? Or do you mean once its assembled it no longer works?
If its that I would suspect the motor in the servo is dying and lacks power. Try another servo if you can find one.

Servo motor works great, tested with a 9v battery. Pot gives all the right readings so it has so be my cdi, just the powervalve part of it though
