Finally finished

Post by warloks » 03 Jan 2016, 16:29

Finally got the rebuilt engine back in its frame over this last weekend and after kicking it over about 100 times and realising i had the ignition off she fired into life with a lot of smoke and weird smells coming from the exhaust she settled down into a smooth tick over i have still got to road test her but all the gears select OK and amazingly no coolant or oil leaks (yet).thanks to everybody on here for your input it was a pleasure to work on such a well made engine you can see why they go on forever the quality of components is second to none. :D

I'm unusually cautious with running in, but doing it all on the kick start even beats me :D :D .
Glad to hear it all worked out though :D .

If Honda released a modern CRM with electric start I'm sure it would sell like hot cakes.
