Sorry guys, I've moved this across from Technical where I mis-posted.
Excuse me all, if this has been covered before but I'm about to start a floor-up rebuild of my Mk2 and need to know, can you retro fit a mk3 style oil tank to a mk2 bike.
I'm thinking its maybe possible to remove/blank off oil filler from top of frame and then use CR tank (which I've got in the workshop).
I've read the old CR tank mod in the past but the couple of CR tanks I've got could really do with moving the extra inch or so up towards the headstock to really look the part.
Is it feasible and/or anyone tried it?
