Post by baker21 » 24 Sep 2007, 22:55

hello,im rebuilding a mk2.2 and have just stripped the frame.Im going to take it to be powder coated but was thinking of going for a blue blue/purple to make it abit diffrent as all the plastics are white.I was just wondering has anyone done anything othere than white?and have some pics?or will i just look wrong  all opinions welcome :) cheers.

21 if you do the frame in whatever colour and you match graphics/ seat cover etc then it'll look the part.have a look at what is available, choose what you like and then have the frame coated to suit.when all's said and done its your ride, have it how you want it.
the blue/purple sounds cool

already got some graphics that come with the bike, they are a blue/purple sort of colour(mainly blue) so was going to take them to the powder coaters to try and get the same if i went that way, would prob have to buy a seat cover tho as my seat is a light purple colour and dont think it would match up,is there anywhere else that does some cool graphics for a good price?the ones ive got are the standard ones and would look good but may be tempted into some more for a decent price  not really to fussed about spending loads of cash on more graphics would rather spend on the engine :)
There is a local powder coaters where i work, been in to see the bloke who runs it said he will do my frame for £25 if i want a colour he hasnt got in stock i will have to pay extra for the powder but i thought that was a good price, the fram is already stripped tho.

pick your model to see a heap of different fancy looking sticker kits. Be warned that the AR's shroud stickers are a bitch to put on, whereas rear panels and other bits went on fine.

AR attacker model i think. Can't find it on the site for some reason...
