It's time to waste some money

Has anyone endured the painful task of spraying your rims another colour? I'm planning to do mine black and thought someone might have some tips ie powdercoat or spray. I really don't have much money to spare as i'm already paying for a rebuild, a frame respray, and saving for my big move to new zealand at the end of the year.
Also, would anyone know where i could get me some black spokes even if i have to get them sent from the uk?

unsure on the cost, plus your in oz so dont have a clue, but it'll outlast the other options, thats why companies use it.dont now wether you can anodise steel spokes although i would have thought so??

i went to http://www.central-wheel.co.uk and they charged me £140 to strip my wheels anodize the rims gold and build the wheels back up wiv some stainless steel spokes. And i was well pleased with the results they looked brilliant.
