whats the easiest way to get the anodising off fork legs ? only mine are blue and will look daft when the bikes sorted

considered sticking in the lathe and skimming a couple of thou off ?

caustic soda will do the job matey, i wouldnt skim layers off with the lathe as the adonising is basically a treatment used to finish and harden the metal its used on so skimming layers off will result in a weakened metal, using caustic soda you will see it work straight away when the adonising starts bubbling so do not leave it on longer than necessary otherwise you could damage the metal underneath

I was going to take mine to them and have them anodised black, but I ended up having the seals done by Kais (as they are closer to me) and leaving them gold, so I can't say how good they are
