hi to one and all great site , as a idea as i know that side panel on airbox side is a crm only part ,but surely it might be possible to graft cr250 88-89 side panel over the top to give another colour , so you keep your std crm side panel intact cause of sealing lip on inside of side panel for the airbox , the other side panel is more easily modded to fit. regards to all

Hi folks , well decided to go down the route of getting the side panels vinyl rapped to the colour wanted then yellow number boards applied afterwards, if this doesn't last i'll take the plunge and buy some new ufo 1989 cr panels and modify to fit regards bill

Hello crm'ers , have got the panels rapped today, looks better than those plain white panels now in orange yellow number back grounds and had the air filter box panel on panel in black so it looks separate from panel , as a measure have hot glue gunned vinyl edges on under side to prolong lifting so this micht help others to mod std side panels on mk1 -2.2 from red or plain white still keep std airbox, cost £27 by print firm.
regards bill
