no keys

Post by wellie » 26 Jan 2007, 18:47

hi all, new to the forum and need some advice, just bought a mk1 for £150 with no keys. does anyone know how to get a key cut? i dont really want to start buying new locks and petrol caps ect. as the rest of the bike is going to cost a fortune to get through the mot as it is. any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, remove the igntion barrel, and underneath there should be a number. take that no to your honda dealer for a new key.
Now obviously buying a bike with no keys isnt going to win you many mates over here, i do trust there was a V5 with the bike ?
