Can't Get the Bl**dyTop Bush In
I am in the middle of replacing fork seals using Slider's instructions (http://crm250.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2502)
It seemed to be going really well up until the end, number 16, but I just can't get the top bush in, it goes down 3/4 of the way and seems to stop. When my forks are pushed totally down, the inner and the outer tubes are flush on the top. If the outer could come out just a little bit more, it would go in. So any feedback welcome.
Thanks

co,
have you got the dust seals (the visible seal with the spring) seated correctly?if not,the inner and outer fork tube will not go together all the way.if you have got the seal seated correctly you may have the top bush going down unevenly, because the top bush is split if you exert more pressure on one side the bush can jam. if your still having probs give me a bell,i've pm'd my no to you
