Oil leak from gear selector shaft seal

Post by Bongo » 12 May 2007, 23:15

Oil is slowly leaking from this area, so I'm guessing it's the seal. Is this an easy fix - any tips would be welcome, cheers

yer very easy. remove old seal by putting in a small self tapper or 2 and pulling.you could use a very small screw driver but be careful not to damage the casing.new one is about £3 from LT.cover in oil and tap back in using a socket of correct size. hope this helps
