AR 2 stroke oil sensor

AR 2 stroke oil sensor

my oil light came on at the weekend first time ever. when on a main stand the level is approx 10mm below the top of the barrel.is the sensor a probe? dont want to remove it !! did do a search but m
ostly about leaks. recon i've just let get a bit low

the sensor is a float switch installed in the top of the bottom tank, if the level is below the float switch then you have just checked that the light works correctly!!!
