weak spark

i have a weak spark on my mk2 crm could it just be the pick up points or the magneto itself?

:? Have you measured the spark to determine its weak?
Modern, CDI ignitions don't throw a huge blue spark.
Check the connections prior to the plug,[all of them] to determine cleanliness.

I had A similar Problem with My MK2 when i put a new spark plug in its gine for about a week then it wont start but the spark plug still sparks but the spark is very weak and faint iv checked all the connections and they are good but could anything be internally wrong?

i recently had a problem like this it has been fine since something i read in the forum here whitch was really simple was to clean out the kill switch fired fine since then

How Do You Mean Clean Out The Kill Switch i dnt have a kill switch button just a run or stop switch i suppose i could check the terminals for build up and rust will check it out thanks bud

hi the on off switch (kill switch) will be the same thing you may have muck or crap ballsing up the switch

Ive Done This Now But the switch was in pretty good condition to be honest im now tracing through all the terminals just to check but so far there is nothing wrong im hoping its something simple thanks again bud
