I was wondering what was lurking under the paint on my new purchase.. aftr 4 days

and a close inspection - it seems that the expansin chamber is a patchwork of rust and welds- and now on starting i'm getting billows of white smoke out the front..

( not really a surprise as I thiught it looked dodge anyways )

so i may ask them to reweld it under warranty - but I think the point is that it's fecked!!!!

the exhaust isnt a standard ( will post a pic in a bit - think Its FIM or FHm or summat )

so what expansion chamber to buy?

anything in particular? I wouldnt mind enhancing performance - ( maybe rejetting isnt a big deal ) -

the bikes running ok otherwise - got used to the power and lightweight front end

- altho I might be a bit heavy on the oil - ( some gunk out the exhaust - and was hard to start when cold - alto could havew been me forgetting to turn the gas back on!!!

Its an FMF pipe so i would expect it has been rejetted already , its probably one of the best aftermarket pipes for the CRM , there have been horror stories from people using DEP expansion chambers but personally i never had a problem but i did rejet the bike even tho DEP state no rejetting is needed ,
Im thinking about a bike with more valves than a powervalve

thanks looking on ebay now,,.

loads on rinka - but mostly for AR ( so far! )

will they fit a mark 3? with the FHM pipe?

how about stuff from a mark 2? I'm assuming a standard expansion chamber is fine? or anything special to look out for?


ps - actually the exhaust sounds pretty awesome! its super loud!
