Setting the float height is not an exact science, with some degree of interpretation required.
Recheck it to make sure your happy with the level.
Run and check if you think it's still lean, doing a plug chop test.
You could loosely pack a clean sponge in the air box :!: , this would take up space that air should flow through, thus making the mixture richer, check the plug again for results.
