Cooling fan
Does someone put a cooling fan on a AR.Can you explain? It's getting hot in the forest.

I put one on a Mk1. Mount a 10cm CPU cooling fan against a radiator.
Epoxy the bolts through the gaps in the vanes. Wire it into the electrics. I used the indicator switch to power the fan as I had no indicators mounted.

Do you think its worth fitting Knackered? When I had the original dash, the light would come on now and again, but since fitting a dash with a proper temperature gauge, the temperature never seems to go high enough to cause any concern.
I wondered if the warning light was a little over sensitive.

I'm not sure. When I had my original Mk1 in 1989 it did run a little hot under pretty extreme conditions.
