Power Valve / RC bits? CRM250 AR

Post by Elmer » 27 Nov 2005, 05:47

Forgive me if I'm not using the correct technical terms...
The Remote Controller for the power valve (connected via 2 cables) has a number of plastic/nylon gears in it.
The teeth of the largest gear keep breaking on my CRM.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Does anyone know where I cold get a replacement gear (a new RC costs around $400 Aus)
The gear couldn't be worth more than $20.
Cheers all,
Elmer.

Check the cables running from the Servo motor (bit with gears in) to the Engine Exhaust valve are well lubricated & also that the valve itself is not sticking!
