Leak!!!!!!
I need some help please......
My bike has started to leak quite a lot.
It looks like its coming from behind the front sprocket, its a dark red in colour
and seems to be a thin viscosity.
It doesn't smell of petrol either. I just wanted your thoughts before i started pulling it apart
Thanks [/code]

hi ,iv`e just replaced my oil seal behind the sprocket.same problem oil seeping from behind the sprocket area. i also replaced the one on the gear selector shaft as that was old and hard, easy job though , anyway the parts cost £3.78 for the gear oil seal and wait for it ,£8.50 or so for the sprocket one. from leisure trail.but next day delivery so not that bad

remove sprocket ,use a small screwdriver to carefully remove the old one.there not that bad but be careful not to damage the casing.you can put in a self tapper to remove but the seals are hard and can be a pain getting the screw to start. dip the new seal in gearbox oil then tap in with a socket keeping it straight.top up gearbox oil as i lost about half a pint doing mine, hope this helps
