yes thats right km1 It looks like thats the part. I've got my bike running now but rather than hijack fishies thread I'm going to start another as I have a few "issues"

They are very clear much better than from the manual I have. If I need to split it again will be refering to this thread. I had a mix up with the part you was querying. I had a part I bagged wrong, it was packaged with my gearbox when it belonged with my clutch side bits. When I saw your pictures (after several Tyskies) I thought "maybe it wasn't packaged wrong, maybe it is part of my gearbox!". Turns out it was bagged wrong and I was just being paranoid.
