dropping the headstock..

Any one brought the forks up through the headstock to sharpen the steering, looks like there is plenty of space on the forks to do it, was toying with just 10mm to start with and see what the beastie handles like...

I did this on my CR 250 along with fitting different shock linkages so I could touch the floor,

Ashamed to say I didn't notice a difference to the way it handled. Fitted a Taper bar kit too so I moved the forks approx 25mm through the yolks. Still wheelies through the gears though!

yes, but if you lowered the back as well, you wouldn't notice the difference cos the angles would be the same
