Front indicator lights help needed

Post by strangefruit » 07 Feb 2005, 23:57

My bike (mk3) failed the mot because of the indicator lights staying on at the front even though I told the garage owner that they were supposed to. I have heard that you can cut a wire to stop this happening. Anyone Know which one?

Mine has passed its mot in 3 different garages now with this.
If you struggle to find out, try a different station and see if they are a bit more in the real world

They did the same to mine, took it to the same shop as the year before
different tester this time, failed ! I have also heard the \" you need to cut a
wire\" story, dont think it exists, will be taking it next time with them removed , you need to take it to a more enduro friendly place . Where ever that may be..........

just take them off, crms do not need indicators to pass MOT's but if they have them on they must work so just take them off and refit them, and bobs ur uncle u just passed your MOT!!!

If anyone lives in london check out banjaxmotorcycles.co.uk, my dads company, do MOT, welding (for those things u break off like foot pegs), and a brand new dyno for power testing and air fuel ratios, can get pretty much all bike parts, NOT CRM PARTS THOUGH
