Hi Alan,
A = Coolant pipe FROM radiator (outlet is bottom R/H side of rad as you sit
on bike)
B = Coolant pipe TO cylinder head
You could do away with these 2 pipes and remove the heat sink if you so wished? Join them together in a loop and tucked them out of the way under the tank(see recent posting...carb heat sink)
C = Breather
D = Fuel inlet from tank
Hope this helps?
Steve
PS... might be an idea to give that carb a really good clean before putting it back on your bike

Don’t worry about the bag of sweets Alan…..I’m fat enough as it is...
Hand them out to ramblers and such like, next time you’re on the trails
The 2 coolant pipes are different sizes! You’ll need a 8 to 6mm reducer (plastic type will do)
I may have one kicking around the garage or at work if you have trouble getting hold of one?
ooh…..

a hairdryer will be handy to warm the pipes to make life easier getting the reducer on

with the weather we have coming it might be better to keep 'em on and keep your carb a bit warmer

supposed to be minus 5 tonight I think...
Seriously though - why would you want to bypass the carb cooling ? Surely uncle honda have done it for a reason ?
