Is there an easy way of cleaning spokes?

Instead of just sitting there for hours, is there any miricle creams you can spray on and wash off?

I started my front wheel today, done about 2 and a half spokes before I got bored.

the easy way is to offer your younger brother/sister/dumber friend a ride if he promises to clean it after. just sit back with a beer and watch.
it is a crappy job - but it looks great when u finish huh?
