AR Fork Seals

Hi, just changed my fork seals today, easy enough job. I purchased the seals from BSL Brammer part No. NBR45X57X11A-DUO, they only charged me £10 each plus the vat.
A good way to fit the new seals without damaging anything is to remove and cut one of the the old one's, allowing you to open it up and fit around the leg. By lightly tapping against the old seal the new one's seated very easily. Because the old seal is cut, it can then be easily removed.
Hope this helps.

Next job is to change the exhaust back to the standard one, ready for the MOT.

Hi Mick, Its got a full RSV, sounds great !!! When I purchased the bike I was also given a standard full system and a new DEP end pipe, but have not got round to trying the DEP out yet.
I was going to put the standard one on today, but found a crack that needs a bit of welding first, its a bit battered but will do for the MOT.

The bike not registered yet, but i'm nearly there for the MOT and SVA test, then its just a matter of how well I fill in the paperwork!!! Then I can have some fun....

Hi John. I got a full RSV on mine, and it passed the mot no problem :D .
If it's a bit loud, try repacking the end can :) .

Mick. I am after some spares for my RSV front pipe, (2x springs and a O-ring that seals between the manifold and the pipe). Any ideas where i can get them. :)

Try race spec, they do a kit for fmf pipes but i dont know what size they are, measure the approx length the springs will be as there are different length of spring for the pipes. Jon

John crm did you say sva test because crm's dont need them they can be registerd as enduro bikes you tell them about a crm's 900mm seat height which is the legal limit plus the 300mm sump ground clearance which is the minimum allowed then all you need is a standard MOT, reg doc's or owners papers money and forms for tax, and off to the VRO vehicle reg office you go.hope this helps and saves you money
