kickstart hits footpeg on full swing

..is this normal? the kickstart looks original as do the foot pegs.

Hi Crasher, it sounds like your kickstart is bent.
If this is not the case I would be extremely worried as this would mean the frame is badly twisted. :|
Try and borrow a kickstart lever and try it on yours.

Are the footpegs standard?
If not borrow standard footpeg and try on yours

OOOps :? .... I think you'll find they do hit the footrest,all the bikes I have ever had do it;unless the footrest folds up...

Another senior moment :oops:

Must put brain in gear before attacking keyboard.
Misread question and thought footpeg was preventing starting bike.
Shudna's right, it does touch the peg onthe end of it's travel.

cant say iv even noticed that it hits the footpeg! have you got poor compression or just a big heavy foot! :lol:
