Preperation for a MX track
Preperation for a MX track
Hi Guys,
As the title suggests, i need to get the bike dirty and get some off road riding under my belt.
I am planning on riding to a localish MX practice track and doing a few circuits.
Is there anything i should do besides covering the lights etc and fixing the side stand?
What sort of performance am i going to get from the suspension?
Many thanks,

Re: Preperation for a MX track
just be a little carefull on jumps as the crm are a little soft as i found out they dont mind about number plates to much but take it off. i rode apex and olympia good tracks and make sure you have a good pair of brush guards on also your levers must have the balls on the end. crm's can be a little heavy on mx tracks. also you will thank god you have a comfy seat thats about it apart from a good pair of tyres.
Boys and wheres my toy arrrrrrrrr

sidestand is ok, the spring will hold it. remove the rear light hoilder if you want to keep it, and as mentioned, easy on the jumps as you will bottom out easily.go for a bigger rear sprocket unless you want to pootle around too. ive ridden my mk3 around a mx track with not too much trouble loads of times.
