gidday paul, i've got a mk2 1992 crm & the footpegs are pathetically small. one of my mates has a 2001 xr 400 & they are double the size pegs on mine. could'nt find any second hand ones & new ones start at about $70.00 aus each so i enlarged mine by welding a strap of flat 32mmx3mm steel in a loop aroud the originals, gusseted them & serated the edges. they work a treat. ( all for a cost of about $7.50.) bargain hey? what year is your crm & is it an import? bought mine off a fella who was scared witless of it & never took it off road. spent most of it's life on the streets of brisbane as a commuter. it has a full procircuit system & the bike's hardly got a scratch on it. got it for $1500.00. ( well it's been off road & got a few scratches on it now.) if you're interested i could give you the part number of the procircuit system? anyhow paul gotta go.
cheers rikkster.

gidday paul,
got the part number of the expansion chamber but theres nothing on the muffler. the chamber number is : ph 98250 cp platignum series. the system was on the bike when i bought it. this system seems to give the bike a fair bit more top end & a little bit more botton end. ( compared to a standard one i rode the other week. i also run mine on bp premium ulp & i still run the original oiling system with castrol tts full synthetic. some say the full synthetic can gum up the power valve but i've never had any problem. also the air box restricter has been taken out. do you know where you can buy graphics kits for the crms & what other model kits fit?
anyhow i gotta go. ( am rebuilding my next door neighbour's xr 400 to nite) see ya.
cheers rick.
