hi all
just wondering if anyone has had to replace the nylon gears in the powervalve servo and where they got their's from, as i pulled mine apart tonight to find the large output gear and the adjacant gear with a few teeth missing. i have checked the site in the long powervalve investigation thread but didn't find it very helpful.
regards
Robin

welcome to the site!
if you found the correct thread
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3010&st=0&sk=t&sd=a ... powervalve then from what I remember there is a suggestion of a shop you can buy them from and also the type of shops (ie model shops) - not sure what else we can give you...apart from actually buy them for you (but that'll cost ya

)!!!

Or you can buy a secondhand powervalve servo (be sure it works or at least has complete cogs

). CRM125 has the same cogs and the same plug as some 250s as I would assume the NSR125R has as it's the same engine.

yer i looked at that thread and the site it suggested but it didn't really seem very clear what was what. Another problem i can forsee with buying gears from a toy shop is that the larger output gear is where the potentiometer slots in and i don't think there'll be anything that will match it. i think i'll try and go down the route of buying a NSR servo and stripping the gears out of that as there is a couple on ebay going fairly cheap.
Just on a note aside i decided to pin the powervalve fully open this evening, wow! couldn't believe the difference, have just bought an AR recently having passed my test and fancied a step up from my DT, i was kinda disapointed riding it about with no real powerband and now i realise what i've been missing out on, is pretty flat at the bottom but it soon takes off :)
thanks
