Hey Guys, Just trying to figure out if i have the original needle in my carb. Im trying to replace it as its bent but the Keihin distributer in Australia has never heard of the model number i gave him!!! So i need your help guys. Surely one of you has had your needle out at one time or the other and maybe had a quick look at what model or number it was?

Mine says 'J3RA'. Can anyone confirm this?

If not what number is yours?

No whwere on that does it state the stock needle...just the clip position.

So does anybody have any idea? Can someone that needs to clean there carbs on an MK2 check for me while they're cleaning :D Pretty Please!

I emailed leisure trail and they only say that they have the part in stock and it 25.90 thats great and all but i dont want to send him my credit card details in an email and thats the only way apart from ringing and giving him them. Plus if i could just get a needle number or something i could have it in a couple days in Australia.

Done...will let you know what the needle say on it when i get it for anyone interested. I also got a oil seal for the oil pump.

Well i got my package on Tuesday and i had recieved a needle kit. It came with needle, circlip, new spring washer thing and something i didnt use was the gold tube the needle slides through at the bottom of the carb as i had no idea how to get it out and didnt want to damage anything.

The needle is a 'J3RA' the same as the one i took out, which is good to know. The part number for the kit is: 16012-KAE-870.

Thats for a needle kit for a MK2 not sure if its the same as other models but the previous number posted was very similar in another thread.
