maximum rear tyre size please

hey peeps

can anyone tell me what the maximum tyre width is on the rear

can i fit a 140 or ?

anyones help will be fantastic :)

:D I have run a Maxxis 140, with no problems.
Anyone got a bigger one ;) :D

I've run a 140/80 Michelin & Bridgestone before now. I think they're the biggest size you can fit with decent tyres for off-road.

iv got a 140 michelin on, it did have a bit of a disagrement with the chain guard but that was nackered anyway!

chain guard ? i dont have one

im nly putting one on fr the mot as its a requirement

depends on the MOT station on that one, i dont put mine on and he never says anything, he aslo told me not to bother putting the "MOT indicators" on as they are not requred for the test (if they are fitted, they must work)

My info is that if you have pillion pegs then chain guard and indicators must be fitted.
With no pillion pegs neither is required but not all MOT stations are aware of this.
It could be worth checking with the station if they are aware before booking the bike in to prevent a fail and a retest fee.

on the indicators i was told that the lever in the switch must be removed

i will be checking on both

Mine didn't have indicators, just had a bit of gaffer tape over the button
