Tyres??

Do tyres have to say for road use? or not for road use? how do I tell if they are road legal?

most if not all have an (E) mark on it

the 'E' is in a circle

if it says ' not for road use ' its a £60 fine and 2 points i beleive

Hi thats what I am wondering as there is no markings saying "not for road use" or for off road use only" so how do you know?

it must have a circled 'E' on it

normally it says E 14 on it

I was told 'M S T' on the sidewall denotes 'multi service tyre' and these are legal for road use.
