Barney was talking about highering a CRM Mk1 by shortening the dog bones, as I am 6ft3 this would help alot. What is the best distance between the centre of the two holes of the dog bones. Please help I have searched through the site and found nothing about highering the bike just lowering it.

Thanks
Jonty

I don't think anyone can give you an answer. You will just have to experiment. Try shortening by intervals of 5mm :?:

There are 'infinitely' adjustable links on Rinkya.

jonty,
at 6ft 3 and a smidge (and not the smallest bear in the woods)haha

measuring a set of standard bones at 66mm centre to centre.

the homemaders that came with my mk1 are 53mm centre to centre, they do whack the rear into the air quite a bit.
the only way i can describe the height is it's halfway between navel and nipple.......works for me though .standards were way to low.

bit of a swine parking though unless you can always find a convenient wall or tree......haha

hope that helps a bit.........d
