i got to put new crank bearings and seals in my mk2 is there anything else i should do while im in there cheers Dan

Check all bearings.
Check wear on piston, rings and bore.
Check balancer shaft for wear.
File away worn tines on clutch basket with a smooth file.
Check for broken teeth on gears and worn dogs on gear change and finally selector drum.
I.E. In case I've missed something - Check everything.
Replace crank seals as a matter or course and check all other seals.

Doesanyone know off the top of there head howmuch sideways movement is accepable on the conrod i have an ar with a rattle so i changed the little end which has not done the trick . iam also told you have to buy the whole crank HELP
