Just puttin all me front end back together an want to make sure its all lined up. Read a post on here which says loosen wheel spindle and yokes and bounce 12 times etc then tighten up.
Im just a little stuck on which bits to actually undo. Do i loosen the 4 nuts on the wheel spindle.
I read a thread on here a bit ago which explained these nuts etc but i cant find it

Hehehee, the only thing im expert at is doin things 3 times cos ive messed up the first 2. I enjoy it though!
So anyone know the crack with what order to tighten the fork pinch bolts an spindle? Ive been tryin to work it out methodically, but my brain is currently mashed

i'd tighten spindle 1st (cos the pinch bolts when tightened should stop the spindle turning) then pinch bolts corner to corner. not that it should matter about the pinch bolts it's just the way i'd do it.

I did search, honest - cos i know the wrath of the old regulars when asking without searching...
I`ve searched again an found the thread i saw a bit ago, at last. Could some nice chap give us a nod if what im about to write is correct, or have a good laugh at me if im about to mess it all up...
Slightly loosen 4 spindle nuts, loosen spindle, loosen bottom yolks, bounce like fek 12 times on front forks, tighten bottom yolks, tighten spindle, bounce like fek on forks again, tighten 4 spindle nuts

That's about right. The test is whether the forks compress smoothly when you have finished........ and the wheel is pointing in the right direction.
